Abstract

Maxillary sinus bone graft procedures with various bone graft materials enable insertion of endosseous dental implants on maxillary posterior atrophic areas. This article reviews simultaneous grafting versus grafting and delayed implant placement, sinus graft healing time, prosthesis design, prosthesis delivery timing, selection of prosthetic materials for rehabilitation of the maxillary posterior atrophic area. In addition, two clinical cases by using sinus graft and dental implants restorations are presented.
